All about Classes Empty All about Classes

"Classes" in our roleplay aren't the normal classes you'd see if you ripped out your current copy of the Dungeons and Dragons rulebook. Instead of referring to what you can do, like Ranger, Fighter, Lumberjack, etc. It's more of a "Social Class", like King, Princess, Civilian, or Diseased Prostitute. Except we have 4 Classes we like to put people in in our little roleplay;

Pirate- Pirates are the criminals of the world; they're supposed to be merciless thieves and killers who are looking for the One Piece and will fight anything in their way! As you can see, not all of that is true for some of the pirates in One Piece.

Marines- Marines are the people who have to keep peace within the world of One Piece, fighting off the Pirates and trying to bring an end to the Age of Piracy.

Bounty Hunters - Bounty Hunters are people who take criminals like Pirates to the Marines for cash. Generally, they take the bounty on pirates for money.

Other - These are people like civilians, mercenaries, workers for hire, etc.

Changing Classes

It's possible for characters to change classes. Hell, within the first few episodes, Rononora Zoro goes from Bounty Hunter to Pirate. However, something important must happen in order to change class; something must change within your character. Whether a pirate saves your character's life, or the marines wrongly kill a friend of yours. Frankly, a Marine who has trained for years to kill the pirate who murdered his father isn't going to just suddenly decide that being a pirate is the way to go. A Civilian, like Ussop, can decide to become a pirate if he had intentions to do so, because it makes sense.

Anyway, that's all you need to know about classes.
