Adventures in the Grand Line
The Grand Line is a wonderful, awesome place for pirates. Basically, it's a sea filled with adventure, and interest. However, in order to enter it and NOT be killed going through the Grand Line, there are some things you must have and do.
You must have a minimum of 5 crew members to pass through the Grand Line
Seems self-explanatory, doesn't it? You need 5 or more crew members to go through the Grand Line. Simple enough, yes?
You must have an Intermediate Navigator (or similar Job) or better
Yet another self-explanatory thing. In order to pass through the knock-up stream, you must have a Navigator.
You must have a Log Pose
Log Poses read the special magnetic waves from each island of the Grand Line, pointing from island to island to navigate through the Grand Line, and eventually to the One Piece. They consist of wrist watch with a glass orb on it, and a needle floating inside of that orb. You can buy Log Poses in certain towns, particularly Logue Town, or you can go through a certain adventure for them. They're also rewards for adventures.
Fortunately, there are a few curve balls put into adventuring into the Grand Line.
Log Pose Minimums
Log Pose Minimums are a thing we developed to emulate a Log Pose's time needed for it to adjust. Basically, we give you a requirement of posts, threads, adventures, arcs, or other things that you need to complete before you can leave for the next island. So, for example, you might need 10 posts from each crew member to leave Noodle Island. The captain will be notified of these Log Pose Minimums. When the Log Pose Minimum is fulfilled, then the crew is notified of the next island they'll be going to, and the amount of real life days it'll take to get there.
Paths and Classifications
Every "path" each crew takes through the Grand Line is a little different. We decided to mix it up here at Sailing Day by having each Crew's journey through the Grand Line more interesting by adding minor islands to the mix, and some islands may only be used once, ever. Basically, there will be "key" islands, islands everyone goes through, and then there will be other islands staff may create.
There is a classification system for islands. There are currently four classifications of islandsm basically you start from the first type and work your way up.
First Half
Beginning Islands - They're the islands you begin with, and usually have the smallest Log Pose Minimums.
Intermediate Islands - These have a bit larger Log Pose Minimums, and have stronger enemies.
New World (Second Half)
Hard Islands - For experienced pirates ONLY. These have long Log Pose Minimums....
Final Islands - Few have come here... the final islands to One Piece!
